Mid-term Reflection.
Next week, we'll be halfway through our time together. Take some time to thoughtfully write about how your work has been developing up to this point. Spell-check and re-read your writing for readability.
Think about this in terms of three categories:
1.
PRODUCT: what you've made.
2.
PROCESS: how you've made it (brainstorming, sketchbooks, source imagery, blogging, seeking and out and making use of feedback).
3.
ENGAGEMENT: your approach to the work (check out the "What does engagement look like in the studio?" document on the class site for more details).

You already wrote about the concept for your What if project.
Spend some time reflecting on how it turned out. What is most successful about it? What would you do differently?

Blindfold drawings.
Describe in detail how it felt and how you coped with drawing while blindfolded.
Here are some questions to inform your writing...you should not just answer these questions in a list as they appear below. Read them. Think about them. Then put them away and just write...
When you heard the directions what thoughts went through your head?
How did the blindfold help or hinder your ability to picture a place?
How did you start to translate your thoughts into marks on the page?
How did the act of drawing blindfolded change if at all as time went on?
How do you feel about the outcome?
How is the resulting drawing similar or different to drawings you have made in the past?
